We are perched on a private bluff extending over Seabright State Beach, a
wide sandy beach bordering the delightful neighborhood of Seabright on the
southern end of Santa Cruz. From our vantage point on the
cliff, you can see the beach below, miles of blue sea, sailboats, otters,
seals, and -- depending on the season -- migrating whales. Enjoy views of two lighthouses from the bluff: to the east, the
lighthouse at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor, and to the west, the lighthouse
at Steamers Lane, known for its world class surfing waves. Guests at our
rentals are literally steps from the sand of one of the best family beaches
in Northern California and just a short stroll away from the restaurants, cafes
and markets of Seabright. Both the beach and the neighborhood of Seabright, with its craftsman bungalow and vintage victorian landscape,
are consistently voted among the best by local Santa Cruz residents! The
Santa Cruz Natural History Museum, Beach Boardwalk, Yacht Harbor and

THE CLIFF HOUSE PROPERTY
The property is comprised of two separate beach houses: Seabright Bungalow and Pacific Bungalow. Fully remodeled in
2005, they are tastefully decorated in a casual and inviting beach style.
South facing windows, vaulted ceilings, and creative design maximize
sunlight and dramatic ocean views throughout the houses. The decor,
emphasizing earth tones, blues, greens and natural materials, extends the
connection between the bungalows and the beach below. The airy interiors
reflect our love for local art and travel. Walls are hung with original
photographs by local artist William Henry, along with
folk art and textiles from around the world. Well-appointed rooms are
equipped with all the modern conveniences you could want. The kitchens were designed by cooks, for cooks. New patios, yard, and landscaping maximize the grounds and invite guests to enjoy views, sun, ocean breezes,
and privacy while relaxing outdoors.

PARKING
There are no onsite parking spaces. You are welcome to load and unload bags at the white curb loading zones at the Seabright Beach entrance gate, just a few steps from the entrance to our property. Look for neighborhood street parking. Mott Street, directly across from the gate, is a good choice.
